This Chinese copycat of a Royal Enfield Himalayan is called a the G30, produced by Chinese motorcycle company Hanway. You could be forgiven for thinking that this bike was a genuine RE Himalayan, thanks to design elements which, seem to be, simply put – inspired by the beloved Enfield machine.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is loved the world over thanks to its simple yet effective design, rugged engine and off-road capability. The RE has always been without any sophisticated modern-day tech. However, this G30 version has changed that recipe to some extent. Hanway has equipped their G30 with loads of electronics and tech features – enough to make any RE enthusiast want to vomit!
Hanway’s G30 features LED lights, inverted forks and tubeless tires. In addition, it comes with a full-color TFT display and is powered by a 26 hp, 250cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. Braking is via discs front and rear with ABS. It sells in China for the equivalent of $2,654 USD.
