The fourth generation of Multistrada is supposedly more versatile and easier to ride than ever. Whether it’s a sporty ride on a track, adventure travel, backcountry trails or an urban street ride. This Italian machine offers four distinct personalities to make the new Multistrada V4 versatile in most riding conditions.
The 1160cc four-cylinder offers 170 hp and robust torque (92 lb-ft at 8,750 rpm). Ducati claims to have tailored that power to satisfy the demands of “adventuring” enthusiasts, without foregoing the excitement of a more sporting spirit.
The new Ducati Multistrada boasts long service intervals
The engine layout was inspired by the Desmosedici Stradale model, yet designed and developed to provide ultimate ease of use and exceptional versatility. A change of paradigm that allows the new V4 Granturismo to push the former boundaries of compactness and lightness, along with the main maintenance schedule of 37,300 miles. The new V4 engine is almost 3 pounds lighter than the 1,260cc Testastretta V-twin it replaces while being shorter.
MSRP on the Multistrada V4 is still TBD, but the model should be on sale before the end of the year. Check out TFLbike.com for more motorcycle news and watch the video below for more on the Multistrada V4:
